Brief Description of Quibids
What is Quibids?
Quibids is a penny auction site where you can bid on different products and win them for RIDICULOUSLY low prices. That is, if you are lucky enough to win. Another company that you might be familiar with that operates similarly is Beezid. You’ve probably seen a commercial on television from Beezid. Just about everyone has. Well Quibids pretty much works the same way except there are a lot more live auctions to bid on!
Quibids offers so many different products to bid on. Anything from more bids to gift cards to big screen TV’s to camcorders to kitchen appliance to a HUGE variety of different products….you name it!
The thing about penny auction sites is they’ve actually been around, but they’ve really started catching on because it’s just so dog-on tempting to want to try to win something for cheap. Or so it seems cheap…But sometimes you can win and get a MASSIVE discount on an item…sometimes you can save hundreds or thousands of dollars!
Let’s take a look at a scenario that might be on Quibids:
Let’s say a big screen TV is being auctioned that looks like it’s worth $2,500…
So you check out the live auction and it’s only at $50.03…so you place a 1 penny bid with the timer running down 3…2….1….then BAM!!!…someone one-ups it to $50.04 at the last second…bummer….now the timer goes back up to 10 seconds and counts down….so you place ANOTHER bid…$50.05….then 3…2….1…..BAM AGAIN!!!…someone out-bids you to $50.06….
So especially for the big items on Quibids, you’re going to be battling other penny auctioneers pretty much to the death…it can last a long time and get real pricey for you. You can get SO CLOSE to winning…and then womp womp…someone else hits the bid button and the battle continues…and this can go on for a long while.
Think about this:
1 penny bid is actually= $0.60
After 10 penny bids= $6.00
After 100 penny bids= $60.00
…and this can all happen within MINUTES!
There is a “buy it now” feature if you just spent so much on bids, Quibids wants to feel pity on you. They’ll just apply the amount you spent on bids towards the retail price and you pay the difference….
Let’s say you spent $100 on bids and the item you want retails at $210…they’ll give it to you for the other $110 plus all the other fees that are involved…
Is Quibids a scam?
Quibids definitely does not look like a scam. However it’s not going to be as easy as it looks and it’s not going to be as cheap to win expensive items, as it looks…
Some people might call it the Quibids Scam after they learn that a 1 penny bid doesn’t really cost 1 cent, but rather cents or dollars. You’re pretty much gambling here and the bids could add up quickly and empty out your pockets if you’re not careful. Not only that, it can become ADDICTING because you just want to win a good deal so badly.
Is Quibids legit?
Quibids is legit. Just like Beezids, the site makes a TON of money off of these auctions because let’s say that big screen TV sold for $79.99 on the penny auction…and it cost Quibids $2,500….but each 1 penny bid costs $0.60 remember?…
So that’s 7,999 x $0.60= $4,799.40 – $2,500(retail cost for Quibids)=
$2,299.40 PROFIT!!! for Quibids…
It’s big business and you know what, it’s legal. So yes, it’s legit…well so far since it hasn’t been shut down for anything illegal…
Quibids is probably not something you want to go crazy on. YOU ARE PRETTY MUCH GAMBLING!!!…You’re probably going to be relying more on luck than anything and it could cost you lots. If you’re looking for ways to get big discounts on stuff, then you might want to stick to traditional auction sites like eBay or online discount stores like Amazon.
If you’re on Quibids because you’re looking for ways to make money online, there are much better options out there like internet marketing training programs that can teach you how to really make money online with an online business even if you have no previous experience whatsoever.
